Just because a town is small doesn't mean that you shouldn't visit it when booking your
MALLORCA HOLIDAY RENTALS. The little village of Soller is a good example of such a small place. The village of Soller is centrally located with the Palma Airport at just one and one half hour’s drive away and it is only about three kilometres down the road to the port. If you don't want to rent a car the village is well connected to the rest of the island by railway and road trams to make it just that much easier to explore the rest of the island. There are only about 13,000 people who inhabit this little place that seems to be blessed with a magical atmosphere especially with the Serra de Tramuntana Mountain range surrounding it. What better setting could you ask for in this island paradise with its amazing views? It is said that Soller is the most beautiful village in all of Spain.
The beach of Soller is not only safe for the swimmers but it also provides an excellent place to fish from. The beach is situated just in the front on the Serra de Tramuntana Mountains with lush vegetation leading from the beach past the rolling hills up into the mountains. You don't have to worry about water sports as they are here in abundance along with all the necessary back up facilities including tuition and equipment hire. Just imagine setting on a boat in the port as you look back at the beautiful beach past the atmospheric little village up into the mountains. What a fantastic view!
If you would like to get even closer to Mother Nature then take a trek up into these magnificent mountains with their peaks reaching up in to the sky. From the tops of these mountains you can see forever on a clear day, which includes the beautiful Mediterranean with its crystal clear waters and the rolling countryside. These views alone are worth the trip to the top.
The countryside that envelopes the area around Soller includes the ancient village of Fornalutx. Here you will find buildings from a time long ago that complements the narrow winding cobblestone streets leading to the village square. The surrounding countryside is alive with olive trees, orange and lemon groves so much so that the flowers fragrance wafts through the air giving the place a magical smell. All this sits in a bowl like valley that is full of lush vegetation.
When you arrive at your
MALLORCA HOLIDAY RENTALS take time and pay a visit to the San Bartomeu modernist church. As you walk around this church you can't help but notice this magnificent building in all its glory with an environment surrounding it which only elevates its beauty. As you stroll through this old village and reach the city’s centre, where most of the village life takes place, stop and smell the roses in the way of all the cafés, bars and restaurants with local cuisine on offer for you to sample.
